The policy doesn’t need a change, it’s those abusing the refund window
that needs to be held accountable.
Was the game broken? No fun? Non-disclosed AI assets? Refund that garbo. However, refunding because you managed to reach the end quickly is just pathetic.
It’s fascinating how this managed to birth another ”refund policy”-discourse, but I guess I’ll toss in my two cents.
Refund policies are meant to be consumer protection, not a way for y’all to dine & dash.
This should not be possible @Steam
Would be cool if you could finally do something about your refund policy... Got dozens of reviews like that and 21% refund rate even though the Reviews are 90% very positive...
Thats over 55,000 Refunds btw...
@KategaruG Even if we assume some miscommunication took place, I can’t say I trust people that just ghost planned events.
Sounds like you parting ways was for the best.
So my game flopped after 3 years of work...😢
Since its release on May 26th, I've sold 77 copies... Streamers and curious gamers loved it.
I have 2800 wishlists, 800 of which are from the release date....
What do you think? Be honest.🙏

@BenjiGameDev The major difference here is that one room is unable to create anything that isn’t copied from Dali while the other is unable to create anything that isn’t influenced by themselves.
Both use the same source but one is an advanced newspaper clipping collage and the other isn’t.
So I found this survival RPG where your house has procedurally animated walking legs
- Farm, craft, build & explore dungeons & caves on foot
- Upgrade your fortress to walk or even fly
- Some bosses can only be defeated using your base
It's called Loya
So I found this indie game where you play as one of three monkeys trying to defuse a bomb - one is blind, one is mute & one is deaf🍌
- Blind monkey can only touch bomb
- Mute monkey has the manual, can't speak
- Deaf monkey can see everything, can't hear
It's called BOMBANANA!
This indie dev is making a physics-based inchworm climbing game where you move one inch at a time
- Movement entirely physics-driven
- Grab onto surfaces with either end of your body
- Pull yourself along using momentum and torque
It's called Inching Along. Would you play this?
This indie team is making a puzzle game where you forge paintings using newspaper cutouts to fool your legally blind boss
- You overslept and missed the art auction
- Cut & place them on the canvas
- Don't lose your job
It's Called Your Painting Sir. Would you play this?
Last year, miHoYo copied my puzzle game Ouros in Zenless Zone Zero.
Because they are a recognized, billion-dollar studio and my game isn't well known, some people are now assuming that their version is the original, and mine is the clone.
I hope this video clears that up.
Autodesk’s fine has bankrupted our small studio.
A few months ago, we made a serious mistake - we bought a Maya license from a fraudulent third-party seller. Autodesk hit us with a massive fine, far larger than the original error. Even after we explained our situation as a two-person indie team, they still enforced it in full.
This has been incredibly tough and made us question everything. But after 7 years of hard work, we’re not ready to give up!
To keep our studio going and fund the next game, we’re running our biggest discount ever: 87% off Wigmund.
If you’ve wishlisted us, enjoyed our unique mouse-as-sword combat, or want to support a passionate two-person indie team, your help right now would mean the world to us.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
