Proud to share the @Gamowlabs results on reanalyzing the genomes of 46 infants lost to interstitial lung disease and their families.

We outperform both the standard-of-care analysis used in a variety of clinical labs and the leading consumer AI product for this application, ChatGPT 5.5 Pro, with a method that is faster, cheaper, and scales to reach all the patients we need to serve.

I'm looking forward to expanding this research to additional phenotypes and getting products built on top into the hands of clinicians as soon as possible.

Hot on the heels of the publication of @OpenAI's rare disease study, @MSFTResearch shares their own.

They report similar results to OpenAI and @Gamowlabs, giving 241 patients and their families answers and possibly treatments.

It is now clear that modern AI techniques can improve the diagnosis of patients facing rare disease.
