What’s been up with the Ganda Lab lately? Well it’s been a busy summer but we have lots to celebrate!
🧬Dr. Erika Ganda received $1.3 million from the USDA to research the zoonotic pathogen, Salmonella Dublin, and work on developing new methods for tracking and identifying AMR.
🔬Samantha Seibel, the newest member to the Ganda Lab, has received a T32 Training Grant from the NIH. This will help fund her research in the lab on antimicrobial resistance monitoring.
Antimicrobial resistance is quickly becoming one of the biggest dangers in the world. The Ganda Lab is doing groudbreaking research to try and identify new methods of detection for antimicrobial resistance genes. Check it out here: https://t.co/13cFJVM1Jl
