MONQ50 is a perfect reminder: always check NAV/iNAV before buying an ETF.
The ETF was trading around โน465 while its indicative NAV was only around โน119.
That means investors were paying roughly 4x the underlying value. ๐ณ
The lesson:
ETF price โ ETF value
Before buying an ETF, especially an international ETF:
๐ Check the NAV/iNAV
๐ Compare it with the market price
๐ Calculate the premium/discount
๐ Don't assume a rising ETF price means the underlying assets have risen by the same amount.
A huge premium can disappear very quickly.
The market price is what you pay.
NAV/iNAV tells you what the underlying assets are worth.
No recommendation โ just an important ETF lesson.

Markets teach the same lesson repeatedly:
Rising market โ โWhy didn't I invest more?โ
Falling market โ โShould I wait?โ
Sideways market โ โNothing is happening.โ
Meanwhile, the SIP investor just keeps going.
Maybe consistency is harder than investing.
And probably more important.

Why are hospital stocks falling today?
Apollo, Max, Fortis, KIMS & Yatharth are down sharply.
Trigger: Supreme Court concerns over steep mark-ups on medicines sold through private hospitals.
Investors are now assessing the possibility of tighter regulation around drug pricing & hospital pharmacy margins.

@MoneyWithSuresh Imo it will be somewhere around middle of 2028 just guessing for AI to cool off, war to end, oil prices to remain low and stable, indian economy to show some steady progress. Just my thoughts ๐
@BaluGorade SIP is one of the best methods to save. What matters is what you invest in, your time horizon, asset allocation and staying invested for long. For most retail investors, consistency, diversification and patience matter more than chasing the โbestโ option.
AI isn't just making businesses faster โ it's also lowering the barrier to cyberattacks.
In India, technology + financial services reportedly account for 44% of cyberattacks.
AI security may become as important as AI adoption.

@ManiBarani005 One thing Iโve started doing lately is turning off notifications for Teams, Outlook & as many apps as possible. It helps me focus on them when I choose to, instead of constantly reacting. Surprisingly, itโs helped with peace of mind and reduced screen time.
One number that shows how big the AI infrastructure cycle has become:
South Korean semiconductor exports jumped 259.4% YoY in the first 20 days of September.
AI isn't just creating demand for models.
It's creating demand for:
Chips โ Data centres โ Power โ Cooling โ Networks
The AI capex cycle is becoming an industrial story.
Nifty at a 6-month low.
Crude > $107
US bond yields elevated
FIIs selling
Rupee under pressure
Middle East uncertainty
The interesting question now:
Is this a correction within the cycle, or is the market repricing for a longer period of higher rates?
@BaluGorade Just do the opposite of what the majority are doing when the valuations are extremely high and not sustainable , automatically returns will show up some day or the other
@BaluGorade Thatโs the general mindset shaped by past experiences. But I think things have evolved significantly, and theyโre doing much better now. Personally, Iโm comfortable with them reaching out to us directly in most cases, especially considering the volume they handle.
@ShaliniRaoSays Imo it is absolutely possible and achievable with digital/phone support, people need to adapt like how it was done for UPI, and a few areas like loan centres etc need some alternatives
GIFT Nifty โ
Oil โ
FII selling โ
DII buying โ
Geopolitical uncertainty โ
Meanwhile, investors:
โSoโฆ are we buying the dip or waiting?โ ๐
Another interesting week ahead for Indian markets.

@BaluGorade Yes I too support that considering work life balance for bank employees and I think it can be managed through digital support in most areas and in my case there is very little need to visit branch nowadays and with phone and WhatsApp support for most areas
