@NeverCallMeRich I think this one is fashion industry language changes. Grandma had a pocketbook, mom had a handbag, I have a purse. My daughter carries a "bag", which may resemble a purse or be more like a backpack or a tote--the word doesn't seem to change depending on what she is carrying.
