the whole 'the crowd is dead' thing started at ptd LA and it started bc army who weren't there were jealous. it was the first concert after the pandemic and so army who weren't there were upset. and so they lied about the army who were there to make themselves feel better

AND, not that the SoFi and MetLife et al aren't charming in their own behemoth and asphalt ways, but standing in merch lines, freebie-ing, and just general concert-crowding was SO pleasant in the dappled sunlight of Stanford's cypress and eucalyptus groves.
