I'm not even going to try to make sense of it, but I will point out the irony…

Trump's tariffs have already cost Americans hundreds of billions of dollars in added expenses.

His chaotic, recklessly stupid tariffs and trade wars have eaten away at the INCOMES of Americans.

Trump's tariff and trade policies have raised costs, hurt small businesses and domestic manufacturers, bankrupted farmers, strained our agriculture industry, increased mortgage rates, weakened our alliances and economic partnerships, forced allies to turn to China for trade, caused surging delinquencies, and all while failing to sufficiently reduce the trade deficit.

In fact, the federal reserve announced that without Trump's tariffs, the inflation rate would have returned to pre-pandemic levels last year.

Other data show that Americans are footing over 90% of the tariff bill.

Trump's tariffs function as a regressive tax on lower INCOME and working class Americans and families.

In the meantime, wealth inequality is MOUNTING and the income gap has reached a 60 year peak.

The economic pain of Trump's tariffs has landed on the American people.

So it's not just Democrats who “don't have any income,” and if anyone is to blame, it's Trump.

His message is utterly tone-deaf, economically illiterate and nonsensical.

And if that wasn't enough to get your blood boiling, consider that while Trump's tariffs and trade wars have failed to pay for themselves by punishing Americans to the tune of thousands of dollars per household, he's now using tariff revenues he DOESN'T HAVE to fund a cash-for-votes scheme that will send the economy spiraling.

Yes, these tariff revenues that have already been offset by massive financial costs to the American people don't even account for a fraction of the value of Trump's desperate “dividend” ploy.

His latest stunt comes NOT out of necessity, but nearly one month before midterms, with every intention of bribing and deceiving voters, and without any consideration for the devastating economic repercussions of injecting that much money into an already unstable economy.

I don't know what's more apparent here: how unimaginably stupid Trump is, or how naive he thinks his voters are, which is clearly the case because they are mindlessly lapping this up.

It's not surprising... What do you expect from someone whose only recourse is to bribe, bully and extort their way out of difficult situations?

Meanwhile, those same supporters are still waiting on their tariff-funded rebate checks, their DOGE dividends, their health care plan “in two weeks”, their 10% middle class tax cut, their $2 gas prices, their border wall paid for by Mexico, etc, alongside a host of other empty “promises."

And in the unimaginable event that Republicans win both houses of Congress and Trump defies all expectations, the cost of such a senseless proposal would be so excessive that it would further destabilize the economy and worsen the financial struggles that Americans are facing due to Trump's policies.

Throwing this much money into a volatile economy would accelerate inflation and raise interest and mortgage rates to the point of negating the benefits of the checks and THEN SOME.

It would spike the national debt and increase interest payments that would persist long after the checks are spent.

It would push fuel prices higher due to extra consumer demand during a global energy crisis caused by Trump himself.

And much of what Americans buy with the added cash will not be restricted to domestic spending. Meaning that foreign importers would see the benefits.

It wasn't too long ago when Trump supporters were railing against excessive government spending.

But now they support reckless economic intervention that is unprecedented in both its irresponsibility and financial scale!?

The hypocrisy is baffling.
