@mcauz56 Look at what Fla gave up. Clearly don't give a dam bout drafting to win. Their low taxes and climate means FAs want to go there... Fla can just "buy" a winning roster. No trade clauses will kill several NHL markets.

@NHLRumourReport I'm thinking McD is his own worst enemy to playing with a contender. Oil had McD and Dri, 2 or the best, but to keep them it took most of the Oils cap such that the couldn't afford to flesh out a contending roster. If he wants a cup he'll have to back off on his $ ask.

@johnnymoon44 @EricEngels What games were you watching? In his last 2 games he was great! Clearly, one of their best, if not, best player. Their go-to guy, their leader. Numerous Grade A plays. He should be proud and hold his head high.
