I had the opportunity to meet Jordan at the Conservative Party leadership election last weekend. He struck me as a genuinely kind and respectful person, which makes these allegations difficult for me to reconcile with the individual I met.
The NDP has a long history of using the courts and legal processes as part of its political strategy, so I believe it's important to let the facts come out before rushing to judgment.
I have confidence that Jordan will have the opportunity to clear his name when the allegations are unfounded. It's worth remembering that anyone can make an accusation; proving it is another matter entirely.
The timing of all this is certainly noteworthy. #bcpoli
