@JFGariepy Claude code is better. You should give it a shot.

[gogs cingro @gapcingro]

@bendee983 your logic fails because the principle of models getting better also includes them getting more efficient. when the period of time comes where an open source model is good enough to run locally, claude will already have a model which is even cheaper.

[Ab Homine Deus @AbHomineDeus]

This is what's coming. Hyper-deflation. Demand collapse. It all ends with the total dismantling of capitalism. Time to sacrifice your sacred cows (property "rights" for instance) because the society of 10 years from now looks NOTHING like today.

[gogs cingro @gapcingro]

@atmoio we are soon going to be hitting a curve where everyday people dont need anything more than opus 6 and price will simply start to drop after that.

[gogs cingro @gapcingro]

@jayypatel18 Apple will fall first. Their entire value is wrapped up in design and and name brand. Both of those things won't matter soon.

[gogs cingro @gapcingro]

@davidpattersonx For a time, then anthropic and openai will tend to 0 as open source modes get better and as intelligence per dollar tends to 0.

[gogs cingro @gapcingro]

@codeslubber Will do.

[David Scott Patterson @davidpattersonx]

SI will solve math by 2030.

SI will solve science by 2030.

SI will solve everything by 2030.

End State 2030.

[gogs cingro @gapcingro]

@davidpattersonx Start reading and getting better taste if you want to be "wealthy" in 15 years.

[gogs cingro @gapcingro]

@davidpattersonx Exactly land ownership will be the only bottle neck and when that occurs I think people will look to socialism and reallocate land. The will be conceptually social clubs which exclude based on genetic or social factors rather than income.

[David Scott Patterson @davidpattersonx]

Superintelligence will make everything easy.

Designing and manufacturing a car, robot, or rocket ship will be as easy as prompting the SI.

There will be a manufacturing revolution.

Competition will become so intense that profits will drop to zero.

Everyone will be rich because economic output will explode and be shared equally through universal high income payments.

But no one will be richer than anyone else because returns to capital and entrepreneurship will fall to zero.

[gogs cingro @gapcingro]

Long term every tech company goes to 0 it will be like fiber optic companies where they were so successful and good at their job we don't need any more fiber optics. Ai will make tech companies obsolete because every cpu and GPU in an office will do all that is needed.

[gogs cingro @gapcingro]

The current trends in efficiency and density make this obvious.

[gogs cingro @gapcingro]

Saying this now before anyone else: Nvidia and amd will be bankrupt in 3 years. Rsi will make intelligence so efficient and employee can be on a 4090 and something that takes us to Mars will be on 100 4090s. Intelligence will be solved and very few chips will be needed.

[gogs cingro @gapcingro]

@_philschmid Opus is simply better.

[Murat Durmus @CEO_AISOMA]

The rich have always needed the poor to work. AI could end that dependency. Before you celebrate the end of labor, ask what happens to your rights when the people who own everything no longer need anything from you.

[gogs cingro @gapcingro]

@fchollet This way of thinking quickly evolves into eugenics. We have hit the singularity where we could be intentionally breeding smarter people but we cant because of our moral system.

[gogs cingro @gapcingro]

@rxpert10 @Polymarket @WOLF_TradingX A model which is able to think logically about the complex dynamics of primary - tertiary protein structure marks yet another breakthrough in logic.

[gogs cingro @gapcingro]

@rxpert10 @Polymarket @WOLF_TradingX It can actually be quite hard to develop working enzymes. The current workflow of of diffusion - mpnn- alphafold still requires lots of intuition and guessing. Many candidates that have high probabilities according to alphafold actually don't work for specific reasons.
