@falostesso@lyvidian1@OwlcatGames I like that they keep experimenting with new ways to make the world feel more full. Even if there are misses, it seems like they keep iterating to make something cool for the next time.
@OwlcatGames If I'm adhering strictly to one idealogy or another, several people tend to get the axe. I've found that painting with a more limited palette made me think more about who I was keeping and what they meant to my Rogue Trader.
@ArthurVyater Dealing with lost civilizations especially with strange tech, you won't know what everything does. I like building enviornments with purpose, but I don't think it's bad if that purpose is to create wonder, especially if it's contrasted with things the player can understand.
@ZBexx There was this old flash game called Dragon Court. It had 4 midi tracks you could play to go along with it, because the game itself had no music.
@seldum_scene Shadowrun is my favorite game on the system. It's a cyberpunk action rpg focused on it's mechanics, story and world building. Light Crusdader is an action and puzzle heavy dungeon dive. Beyond Oasis is a beautiful Zelda style game focused on comabt and summoning spirits.
@JamesIntrocaso It always felt weird to me that in 5E there was no sight range on lowlight or regular vision, but there was for dark vision. Either they should all have a set range or none of them should. I always like the idea of different vision types, but the execution always seems lacking.
@RealGreyMage I like races to be almost alien to each other. The racial differences like age, resistances, and skills/spells stand in for cultural differences. Cultures can be more different than people realize. Still being able to work together despite these differences feels powerful.
@thetshirtedone No more than two pages. A little stylizing or art is fine, but not too much. Extra equipment, notes, and other things can go on the backs of those sheets or onto other blank paper.
@JagvarGames My party often ends up with a horse drawn wagon in case we find something cool, even wound up hitching a flying carpet to it once. And I mean, who wouldn't want a gelatinous cube sidekick? The Beastheart by MCDM makes that kind of thing fairly easy to work in.
