@mothcub_ this is a really funny take. I like kind of get what they mean but at the same time this is soooo stupid lmao. Like Pokemon can both be a different flavor of game than FF/DQ/etc and still be a JRPG, thats kind of why subgenres exist lmao. It's like saying Metroid isnt a platforme
