All the "what should Democrats do?" miss the obvious. Govern. Competently. When the blue states and blue cities are booming, safe, great schools, business flocking, call America and say "we're ready to run the country now."
Been tossing around the idea of a one time wealth tax specifically to recapture the the transfer of wealth driven by money printing and inflation. Offends my libertarian sensibilities and I don’t think a recurring wealth tax is good, but fiat currency inflation also offends my sensibilities
