We're heartbroken to hear of the passing of @DermotMurnaghan and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time 💙

“And so it came to pass.
‘The most damaging pop cultural force in recent British history’ found its way into the hearts and minds of a new generation. From Gallagher Hill to the River Plate, from Croke Park on the banks of the Royal Canal to the City Of Angels, the love, joy, tears and euphoria will never be forgotten.
There will now be a pause for a period of reflection.”

......
But the Premier League eats managers alive and nobody really knows how this will go.
It’s a gamble, but it’s an exciting one. He’s here now @fulhamfc and he’ll have my full support.

Released as Stereophonics' debut single, "Local Boy in the Photograph" introduced the storytelling style that would become a hallmark of Kelly Jones' songwriting. Their appearance at Glastonbury in 1998 came as the band were building momentum beyond their Welsh roots, with a song that helped establish them as one of the leading new voices in British rock.
