@mlkytee I’ve been qualified since ‘95, always had to do courses for this AFTER qualifying. I do believe this last few intakes are including venepuncture and cannulation during training.
Taken a few years for them to go down the logical route.

@SteveBarclay A backlog bonus??? Are you serious? I work 100% bank, didn’t get the first ‘backlog bonus’ and I was smack bang in the middle of it all! Every single covid +ve patient came through the hospital via my area, with no support from senior management and very little PPE. It’s a joke!
