Well done to all students who took part in the Footbalk tennis house competitions at lunch time today. The winners were Oakwell in Year 7, Lotherton in Year 8 and Lotherton in Year 9 👍

The Year 7 boys signed off for Easter in style last night as they beat Boston Spa 3-0 to reach the @Leeds_Schools Cup final! Amarion M (x2) and Lachlan V were on the scoresheet as the boys set up a clash with either Morley, Mount St Mary's or Cardinal Heenan in May 👏🏻

After coming back from 2-0 down, thanks to goals from Isla Mc and Ruby F, the girls dominated and had chances to win it but it wasn't to be 😢 Good luck to our opponents in the final 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

In happier news, the Y9 boys recorded a convincing 5-2 league victory against Wetherby on Wednesday night, owing to goals from Sonny D (x2), Jonah R, Arthur B and Ben P 👏🏻

An unwanted hattrick of exits at the quarter final stage of the @Leeds_Schools Cup was completed by the Y11 boys on Thursday, who sadly had to concede their fixture against Horsforth. Good luck to our opponents in the semi final 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

The Y10 boys also bowed out of the @Leeds_Schools Cup at the same stage, thanks to a 6-3 defeat at home to Farnley. Goals from Zac B, Connor Mc and Xander W weren't enough see them into the last four. All the best to our opponents in the semi final 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

Last Monday, the Y9 boys exited the @Leeds_Schools Cup at the quarter final stage. In a close encounter that could've gone either way, Prince Henry's eventually came out on top; winning 2-0. Good luck to our opponents in the semi final 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

The Y7 boys advanced to the last four of the @Leeds_Schools Cup, thanks to a resounding 4-0 win at home to Abbey Grange on Wednesday night. Eddie W helped himself to a double, with Marcus L and Lachlan V also on the scoresheet. The boys will face Boston Spa in the semis 👏🏻
