Today Switzerland will vote on whether to cap its population at 10 million people
People say our country will end up like Germany or France if we don't cap our country
I'm proud that Switzerland remains as independent from the EU as possible, but I don't believe cutting ties completely will solve our problems (just look at the UK)
I voted against the cap primarily because I don't want to risk Switzerland's economic growth, which was also built by generations of immigrants
Yes voters are mostly driven by emotions rooted in negative experiences with immigrants, but imo they’re missing the bigger picture
