COACHES SPOTLIGHT: For most of its history, 20 losses were the norm for Rhode Island. Under Tammi Reiss, 20 wins have become the standard.

Before Reiss took over, the Rams recorded 20-loss seasons in 22 of the previous 38 years. Since her arrival, Rhode Island has produced four 20-win seasons in seven years.

The latest came yesterday with a 69–61 win over Saint Joseph’s. Reiss previously set the program’s single-season wins record in 2022–23 with 26 victories, and with the Rams sitting at (20–2) and seven regular-season games remaining, that mark is back within reach. 🪄
