The right question?
For this current season, the right question is not, “What does Ai do?”
The right question is, “How can my company and our people use it?”
Ask that question 👆.
Then, answer it as soon as you can.
If you organize your operations, you will amplify your success.
What is success?
Generally, success is having a bunch of happy customers that keep coming back to you and keep telling their friends and family about your business.
If you run a business that is disorderly or chaotic, usually that is not a path to creating happy customers.
Here's another way to look at it: creating 𝐮𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬 is rarely a path to growth and profit.
So, what's the best way to create unhappy customers?
𝐁𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝.
This will ensure that you lose control of your business value.
It will also ensure that you stress your people out.
And, typically, it's the cause of 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 by you and your leadership.
Businesses that are operationally disorganized suffer from these consequences:
- Leaders become overwhelmed and exhausted
- Your competition is faster and better
- Lost revenue and profits due to inefficiencies
- Increased employee replacement costs (70-200% of salary)
- Slow innovation speeds
- Inability to focus on growth opportunities
You pay your people a lot of money to help your business win and succeed.
Doesn't it seem like your investments would be better spent on 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, and 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠?
Where focus goes, the energy flows.
Businesses that get organized will:
- Decreased costs
- Increased productivity
- Make happy customers
- Create happier employees
- Earn higher gross profits
Today is new day.
If your business is disorganized and you hate it, do something about it.
𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐢𝐭.
Your business and your people will thank you.
Your customers will too.
And, they'll both reward you for it.

I can help you re-organize for predictable success.
You do not rise to the level of your goals.
You fall to the level of your systems.
Everybody at the start line of the 100 meter race has the same goal to win.
It's not the person who has the best goals that wins.
It’s the person who has the best systems and preparation that does.

Clarity from Leadership is a super power.
If you are a Leader of people, and find yourself in the bad habit of telling people why they are wrong and why the choices they are making don’t work, maybe contemplate a new way...
Instead, consider communicating with clarity what you need and why.
Take the time to detail out where the team and business is going and how that relates to their role.
Consider taking the time to put this in writing. Some also refer to this as process or SOP.
Think about the power and influence you will earn by making yourself available to support the people you lead when they need help, and remind them of all the good they are doing.
Jeff Weiner, ex-CEO of LinkedIn, is a good example of this.
He referred to himself as the "Chief Reminder Officer".
He said his primary role was to continue to remind the company about where they were going, what they believed in, and what they needed to do to get there.
This is always a strong recommendation of mine when I'm invited to evaluate the disorganization and chaos inside of a business.
It seems to always come from unclear expectations regarding what, why, who, how, and when.
Almost always.
In general, people don't need to be told what they're doing wrong. They need clarity, direction, and support to do what's right.

Struggling with the classic business problems that threaten your growth and gross profits?
Here's what I wish someone had told me when I started my entrepreneurial journey:
An important part of winning in business is knowing exactly who needs it and why they'll pay for it. AKA: Product Market Fit
Three game-changing lessons I learned the hard way:
1. Your target market must actively want your solution
2. Their desire must translate into revenue
3. Your systems and processes must support your customer offers in quality and speed
🚫 My Costly Mistake:
- I built products based on assumptions instead of evidence.
- Don't repeat my error.
✅ The Better Approach:
➤ Test
➤ Validate
➤ Move fast, but don't let quality suffer
➤ Iterate relentlessly
➤ Build rapidly, but don't cut corners
➤ Execute with confidence
➤ Delight your customers consistently
💡 Pro Tip:
At Clarity Ops, we've developed the FASTT™️ Rails System that facilitates this approach.

The reason for chaos in business?
It all boils down to what leaders prioritize.
For example, if your priority is "sales at all costs"—hitting your targets while pushing everything else aside—you're likely to ignore the infrastructure that sustains those sales.
In industries like manufacturing, we talk about supply chains—connected third-party vendors driving business outputs to customers.
However, many businesses forget that inside the business is its own supply chain.
HR, finance, IT, sales, marketing, customer success—each department is interconnected, just like the systems in the human body.
They rely on one another and must work toward the same goal.
The problem? Most businesses operate in silos, with departments not communicating.
They don't focus on what keeps them going long-term: 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞.
Even though companies are often surprised by astronomical customer churn or employee turnover—especially after experiencing sales success—this failure usually boils down to one thing:
A lack of well-organized infrastructure.
My hypothesis is that 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲.

🙋♂️ 𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡:
How do you empower leaders within your organization to ensure they can effectively manage their teams?
👇 𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗪𝗘𝗥:
↳ Bill Campbell, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵, infamously said, "You CANNOT be a great leader without first being a great Manager." So true!
↳ Delegate authority with measurable constraints.
↳ Any business is in the business of ensuring that it controls its output. And, leadership (people) are generally the ones charged with ensuring the business delivers its intended output.
↳ Put a heavy emphasis on equipping managers with a management playbook.
↳ I use a playbook called 𝗙𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗧™ (𝘍𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴, 𝘈𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴, 𝘚𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘴, 𝘛𝘰𝘰𝘭𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘛𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘪𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘴). This keeps everyone on the team running plays from the same playbook. And, it ensures that management leadership mileage 𝗗𝗢𝗘𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗧 vary. Instead, it stays consistent and unified.
