A constantly depreciating currency erodes global investor confidence and drives up core production costs. Far from being a mere statistic, it actively destroys the margins of our MSMEs and severely burdens farmers as the costs of imported fertilizer raw materials and diesel surge.

Government should stop using academic trivialization to mask structural policy failures. The value of our currency isn't an abstract game, it directly impacts the livelihoods of the backbone of India.

With a brutal 4th hike in May pushing petrol past ₹100, this government is choking farmers with soaring diesel costs for irrigation & crushing middlemen under massive freight charges. Their failed economic policies are blind to the ground reality, fueling inflation and breaking the common citizen.

A brutal ₹3/litre diesel hike is a direct assault on Punjab’s economy. It bleeds our farmers dry right before paddy sowing, suffocates small businesses and transporters, and loots the pockets of everyday families struggling with rising costs.
Combined with fertiliser shortages, this is crushing Punjab’s backbone.

This is callous governance. The Centre must immediately roll back this burden and provide real relief to our people.

Rupee is crashing and we know exactly why. Years of FII exodus because of double taxation, STT coupled with capital gains tax both, despite Parliament being promised STT was introduced IN LIEU of capital gains.

FIIs begged for clarity. This government responded by hiking LTCG further in 2024. They walked. Billions left every single month. Rupee paid the price.

Now instead of fixing this, this government is telling people, don’t go on foreign vacations, avoid destination weddings. This is their forex strategy!

The Finance Minister @nsitharaman cannot find time for ONE open meeting with FIIs but has time to monitor where Indians holiday. A tone deaf government chasing small distractions while bleeding billions, this falling rupee is entirely their making.

The pattern is no longer subtle, it is visible and increasingly predictable. As elections approach, the ED becomes unusually active, and opposition leaders, particularly in non-BJP ruled states, find themselves at the centre of its attention.

When timing aligns so neatly with political cycles, people are not wrong to question intent. Institutions are meant to enforce law, not create political atmosphere ahead of elections.

Democracy cannot function on selective scrutiny. It either applies equally, or it becomes a dictatorship.

बंगाल चुनाव की समाप्ति के तुरंत पश्चात पंजाब में ED की ताबड़तोड़ कार्रवाई आरंभ हुई। जिनके यहाँ रेड हुई, वे अगले दिन BJP में सम्मिलित। जो न माने, उन पर पुनः कार्रवाई। इसके साथ-साथ अमृतसर और जालंधर में बम विस्फोट, सामाजिक सद्भाव को तोड़ने के प्रयास, पंजाब को भय और अस्थिरता की भूमि बनाने का सुनियोजित प्रयास।

यह क़ानून का शासन नहीं, यह एक राजनीतिक परियोजना है, विरोधियों को तोड़ो, न टूटें तो डराओ, न डरें तो अस्थिर करो।
भारतीय जनता पार्टी को स्मरण रहे, पंजाब वह पवित्र भूमि है जिसने सदैव अन्याय के विरुद्ध गरिमा और साहस के साथ खड़े रहने की परंपरा निभाई है। यहाँ की जनता जागरूक है, सक्षम है और भारतीय लोकतंत्र की शक्ति में आस्था रखती है।

इतिहास साक्षी है, पंजाब का उत्तर सदैव निर्णायक रहा है।
