Our next topic for Year 10 is 'Macbeth' and Year 11 are moving on to 'A Christmas Carol'. Please make sure you are bringing your own copy in to your lessons.
Many thanks to Ms North and her team of Reading Buddies, who have had an amazing half-term encouraging students in the younger years to start reading.

Many of our #GartreeY11 students spent the hottest day of the year so far watching Macbeth at The Globe Theatre. At least it wasn't raining! #GartreeEnglish#GartreeDrama
Reminder:
Spaces are still available for our current Y10s to book their space on our Globe Theatre trip to see Macbeth in September. All details on are on the MCAS app!
It's National "Thank A Teacher" Day today, apparently. Many of our students have been writing messages to thank a specific teacher for something they have appreciated. Some of the messages have been very touching. Thanks. #GartreeThanks
This afternoon our lovely Carnegie Book Club watched the award ceremony being streamed. The lucky lot enjoyed some treats as the final decisions were made. Sign up with Ms Weatherhog!
