@theburiedtruck I feel like it just ignores kids who do appreciate that stuff. Even as a young child I always put the brakevan at the back of freight trains, emulated the breakdown train, loved the use of technical dialogue (even if I didn’t fully grasp it). Kids can enjoy these things!

@suhosjacket @MonikaCinnyRoll I bought it at launch physically on Switch 1, and I’m still happy I did but MAN are the load times rough, and it definitely doesn’t look as nice as the other versions. Would be nice to use my same save files and cartridge but with a nice Switch 2 upgrade.

@SodorPro @LOTTracks This has been confusing me for years, as a kid if anything I liked watching cartoons about adult characters or that had adult voice actors, or like at least teenagers cause it made me feel older. Most kids I knew wanted to be treated as older than they were

@E2forLife2lkpr Kinda agree ngl. The core story is neat and it has good qualities, but I can never get past that HiT era writing style and acting. I just can’t take it seriously the way I can something from Season 4 or the RWS.
