@MugenLord It's why I love SoulCalibur, or the 3D Mortal Kombat games like Deception. There's a ton of things to do in singleplayer, with side modes, campaigns, minigames, collectibles, etc
@icyClearer@dillonatm@GnySgtKabar I'm not saying that people don't want friction, that's how a game gets boring. There's just a point where there is too much friction.
Apparently your brilliant tactical mind couldn't grasp that. Online is unreal lol
@dillonatm Because most PvPvE modes forget the E part, and it just devolves into a BR or TDM game. It usually just turns toxic and sweaty. Being toxic doesn't automatically make it good because it's "high-stakes" when someone that's been camping for 5 minutes rapes you.
@ylevi0 They're trying so hard to be funny it's just sad. Or trying to lean really hard into the funny faces and bits of old episodes without fully understanding why they worked. "If he just makes a new face every frame surely ONE of them will be a big new meme."
@lukerinio@TallyHound45@A_Cringelord Yes, but I believe a version exists for the original as well. It's cursed seeing PSM successfully implemented in Zero
@Scarecrow1625 It was always my funny headcanon that he just couldn’t afford a new plane. If he’s an independent mercenary, did he pay for that F-15 himself or what?
@Gorgonner6@Maelstrom_Demon The difference for me is that it’s a creative work. It’s taking from other people’s art, with no expression or intentionality. When there’s no intention, you just stop thinking about why something is designed this or that way.
@PsykoPyro@Maelstrom_Demon What would be different if he had coded everything by hand then? Doing more work to achieve the exact same result?
It’s like saying “I hate the invention of lawn mowers, that guy could have just cut all the grass by hand”
