गेल्या २४ तासात जलाशयातील पाणीसाठ्यात १२ % वाढ झाली आहे.

All Government, Private, Municipal Schools and Colleges in Mumbai to Remain Closed on Tuesday, July 7, 2026

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an Orange Alert for Mumbai for Tuesday, July 7, 2026, forecasting heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds.

In view of the weather warning and to ensure the safety of students, all government, private and municipal schools, as well as colleges in Mumbai, will remain closed on Tuesday, July 7, 2026: @mybmc

Mumbai City : 28.02 mm

Eastern Suburbs : 61.75 mm

Western Suburbs : 65.45 mm

Rainfall in Mumbai over the past 24 hours ending 8.30 am on Sunday ranged from ‘very heavy’ to ‘extremely heavy’ across all major monitoring stations, with Colaba recording the highest at 265.6 mm.

Four stations recorded ‘extremely heavy’ rainfall—categorised by the IMD as 204.5 mm or more in 24 hours—while the remaining six recorded ‘very heavy’ rainfall.
