So this was our table after we finished eating at Burger King today. Nothing was thrown on the floor or smeared everywhere—just the trays, cups, wrappers, and leftovers from a normal meal. As we were walking out, an older man stopped us and told us we were being "lazy" and "disrespectful" for not throwing everything away ourselves. It honestly caught me off guard. Growing up, I always thought part of eating at a fast-food restaurant was that employees cleaned the dining area. We weren't trying to make anyone's job harder or leave the place trashed—it was just a regular table after lunch. After he said something, I started wondering if I've completely missed an unwritten rule. Has the expectation changed? When you eat at places like Burger King or McDonald's, do you always clear your own tray before leaving, or do you think it's still okay to leave it for the staff? I'm genuinely curious to hear what other people do. No arguing—I just want to know what's considered normal these days
