Inclisiran’s GaLNAC/ASGPR specificity = normal absorption of fat soluble vits. My vits + steroid hormones all normal.

@Just4NowOn @theproof Rosuvastatin 40 mg/d (prob.⬇️ to 20mg [flat DR curve]. Zero SE’s, like extra anti-inflamm. effect, ?keep 40mg!); Ezetimibe 10 mg/d + Inclisiran (prev. used Repatha-similar results - £++ in UK). Obv. Inclisiran outcome data awaited (soon). IMO LDL-C doesn’t care how you ⬇️ it!

@theproof Repatha is good stuff. Nice auto-injector too - for anyone concerned about needles you don’t even see it. And the pressure of the yellow guard against your skin seems to make the injection feel barely noticeable.

@MohammedAlo How about a statin + ezetimibe + Inclisiran? In the UK the NHS has negotiated a volume based population level pricing deal that brings the cost of Inclisiran down to £150 per year. With that approach we can drop LDL-C to levels seen in a newborn — plaque progression is halted.

@theproof By definition the population average is what gives us the modern “epidemic” of cardiovascular disease. Evolution designed us for a ~ 40 year reproductive lifespan and then in evolutionary terms we are surplus to requirements. We need to aim for the physiological target.
