This week I'm looking back at my first indie horror film, The Path of Torment. I talk about financing it through medical testing, making a feature on a tiny budget, getting Five Finger Death Punch and Volbeat on the soundtrack, film festivals, and what I learned from the experience 18 years later.
@ms_dingo I'm not gonna argue because there were a LOT of issues with the stories. BUT the main thing that sticks out to me was he was told to maybe not sleep with boys for perception and he still didn't care. But the fact that everyone took money says a lot.
@OrtizGino9093@Karnage420x I mean I get it. I’m curious your age. I think being 50 like I am, there is a nostalgia thing to that first blockbuster that maybe doesn’t translate. It’s like a 89 year old talking about Gone With The Wind.
@Karnage420x My friend we just have to agree to disagree. Even a 33% rate but those movies are legendary, it makes a person great. Not necessarily someone who is consistently good but who changed cinema
