Yep, I’m going to bite. Rice hasn’t played Champions League before, sure, but he’s been one of the most outstanding central midfielders in world football for at least two years. One of the first names on England’s team sheet, played all seven games en route to the Euro 2020 final, Europa League semi-finalist, Europa Conference League winner and captain at West Ham, Beaten Sevilla in knockout competition too.
