Where is God in all of this?
The power of the Christian faith is not that we are spared from suffering, but that we are never alone in it.
We worship a God who entered into our pain. Jesus wept at the tomb of His friend. He bled on a cross, innocent and betrayed. He knows grief. He knows loss. And He meets us in ours not with empty words, but with pierced hands.
The cross proves God is not distant. The resurrection proves darkness does not win.
Even when everything shakes, our faith is not in our feelings. It’s in a Savior who conquered death itself. He promised, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). That promise still holds.
So hold fast, child of God. Sorrow may last for the night, but joy (real, eternal, unshakable joy) comes in the morning. And even now, He is with you. Still working. Still loving. Still faithful.
Always.
