What a rail-y good day! From emergency runs between Ershington and Bedlington to a cheeky few hours on the Metro 😀 I spend so much time pretending to be a train these days, may as well be a train driver by default
It's been a busy few months with East Yorkshire and Great Scenic Journeys helping with the introduction of the new open top tour of Scarborough, not to forget the new-look Beachcombers and of course the new electric fleet. They all look stunning, even if I say so myself.
It was huge fun shocking the dock last night, months of hard work have finally paid off - well done to everyone involved. The buses look great (biased view) and the launch event was out of this world!

27 electric buses launched at The Deep @TheDeepHull as part of a huge investment in cleaner, greener transport for Hull and the East Riding. The future is here!

Delighted to be working with Go North East again, with both printed and online timetables ahead of their 22 March service changes; including a revamped online style making the information clearer and simpler to understand with the addition of a helpful route map too!
A nice relaxing afternoon plodding round between Sunderland and Hebburn. Not long to go before the 599 passes onto its new operator, but it's lovely to hear all the positive praise for the past 18 months of service!
The end of an interesting week and a new rail line ticked off for my replacement work. Definitely one of the more niche lines I've covered, and longest too!
A nice tidy leaflet and a slightly modified web version for Todd's Travel and their SPT contracted service. Just because a service is funded doesn't mean it shouldn't receive the same attention that any other service would; and I believe we have achieved that attention to detail.
A few days in the making, and I think the end result is well worth it - a nice combined map showing the bus, ferry and Metro connections available on Boxing Day this year...let me know your thoughts! https://t.co/OhznrW4IUS
Another fun-filled week comes to an end...work for 4 operators this week, in all different forms - undecided whether I prefer being a tram or a metro at this point though
Please drop me a follow on my page - I'm still slightly shellshocked at how far I've come in less than 18 months. Thank you for all the support and here's to more great things in the future!
A pretty little collection of some of the work carried out for Transporabus with plenty more still to come.
From timetables and maps to logos and branding - we've done so much in the last year!
Drop me a message or email [email protected] if we could work together...
@DaveFromUpNorth@NorthEastPTUG The whole thing is a shadow of its former self. I remember the 91 (not too long ago) running every 15 minutes all day, then being supplemented by the 90, 92, 933, 937, 939 and 941. I think their downfall was that they were very much a 'in the know' route - not very well promoted
A busy few weeks catching up with work for East Yorkshire and Transporabus - it's great to be getting my stamp out there more and being to help more than ever 😀
If you, or anyone you know would be interested in working together to create some stylish, memorable printed publicity, social media graphics, maps and more, please get in touch - I'm always looking to branch out more!
@mhdpartnership There was one on the NatEx coach station in Manchester for the summer, "the kids on the coach go free, free, free"
Whoever is doing the marketing for NatEx has really upped their game!
Bit late to the party with this one, but a nice collection of the July timetables I've worked on for @gonortheast. The logos within the QR codes were inspired by Go South Coast and really look the part. Here's to the next batch...
It's great seeing the rollout of the new @TheGoAheadGroup branding for @EYBuses & @GWYbus. Only a few more weeks until the West Yorkshire operations expand yet again! Fantastic to have played a part in all of this.
