This Easter, we’re proud to be supporting @ACTcharity in bringing a little extra joy to children on the hospital wards.

Following a recent initiative to support Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust, the LFB team has donated Easter eggs and soft toys to help brighten what can be a challenging time for young patients and their families.

ACT does incredible work across the hospital – from funding specialist equipment to providing comfort and care when it’s needed most. We’re delighted to play a small part in supporting their efforts again this year.

A big thank you to everyone involved in making this happen. Wishing all the children, families, and staff a happy and positive Easter.

No again. Most of the 1,000 acre+ farms I know are owned by individuals or small family partnerships. The land is often held in a single partner's capital account.

Inheritance, Succession and the Family Farm...

So here we are! Who thought the changes to Inheritance Tax was going to be this bad?! This could be extremely harmful to family farms. They are not to blame for the high land values in the UK; they're simply trying to produce food for us and end up suffering as a result.

However...
we have 18 months…. and we still have Gift Relief available

Although the basic rules apply to all, every farming family and business will be different.

So, we need to start thinking outside the box again – we are currently delving into the details provided by HM Treasury and hopefully may come up with some answers.
