NYC’s socialist mayor, Zohran Mamdani, is doubling down on his previous statement that if a company leaves NY, find them and tax them anyway.
Now he is saying:
"We should take businesses from owners who want to leave due to the tax increases and run them for the city ourselves.”
“We should actually make it illegal for them to leave. Fine them to hell."
I wonder if New Yorkers are still happy with their decision.
What are your thoughts?
I’ve started using The Pause App from John Eldredge, and I didn’t realize how much I needed it.
Life has a way of pulling me in a dozen directions — work, projects, people — and before I know it, my heart’s running on empty. The app gives me space to stop, breathe, and invite Jesus back into the moment.
It’s amazing how 60 seconds of stillness can reset your whole day.
If you haven’t tried it, give it a go. Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is just… pause. 🙏

Before you hit send… launch… or buy…
👉 Pause.
Because one second look…
could save you thousands
When you’re deep in your work…
you stop seeing clearly.
You’re in the zone—
but sometimes, too deep in the zone.
That’s where blind spots live.
And that’s why smart entrepreneurs—
get feedback,
review twice,
and never rush the final decision.
The biggest wins don’t just come from hustle…
they come from clarity.
One second look can turn a good idea…
into a great one.
And a costly mistake…
into a smart move.
So before you finalize that deal,
post that ad,
or drop that product—
Take a breath.
Get another set of eyes.
Because great leaders…
don’t just move fast—
they move smart.
Pause. Review. Win.

“A real decision is measured by the fact that you’ve taken a new action. If there’s no action, you haven’t truly decided.”
→ “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” (James 1:22)
I see a lot of jobs advertised as Technical Project Manager.
I’ve even been pulled into that role myself.
But here’s my take: a strong Project Manager should be able to deliver anything.
More than once, I’ve stepped into projects already off the rails—not because of deep technical skills, but because I could bring structure, clarity, and momentum back to the team.
The balance for a good PM looks like this:
👉 Understand the technical context
👉 But don’t get so deep in the details that you stop leading people, process, and outcomes
Because project management isn’t about writing code—it’s about:
💡 Clarity
👥 Alignment
📈 Plans people believe in
⚠️ Managing risks
🌟 Accountability + support
Technical awareness helps. But leadership, soft skills, and delivery discipline make the difference.
At the end of the day, delivery isn’t about technology—it’s about people.
