@LoneStarChica Lifestyle inflation doesn't help. We buy so much more unnecessary stuff that we think we "need." Not every adult had their own car and personal phone. People rarely ate out at restaurants. We have way more clothes and shoes. I believe that what you've described is still possible.
I have started using AI research tools such as @GeminiApp and @perplexity_ai since reading this @WarOnTheRocks article and I have to say, I don't know if I'll ever use a traditional Google search to answer a question again. https://t.co/sQnGOnGlJQ
@d753000329 @shaunrein "It is a sign of their internal weakness and desperation to prop up their domestic industries." This is an interesting quote. Is this a universal truth or can you only replace the pronoun "their" with only one country?
@aspiringpeasant@SNAFU_Sara The challenge seems to be that we struggle to define a shared idea of what is good. Instead, a lot of people define good as what's good for them.
@elonmusk The U.S. Constitution establishes three separate but equal branches of government: the legislative branch (makes the law), the executive branch (enforces the law), and the judicial branch (interprets the law). [T]his prevents one branch of government from becoming too powerful.
@StevenCheung47@jrpsaki I've appreciated a personalized thank you or congratulatory note from my superiors on their own letterhead. I think this is a nice touch.
"If you think about it, words are one of the most powerful unseen forces on this planet. They can break hearts or give hope, stoke fear or inspire courage. Words can drive crowds toward destructive behavior or galvanize people to help each other." #Books#FromTheGreenNotebook
Wow! Tom Brady may have just delivered the greatest quote I’ve ever heard.
“To be successful at anything, the truth is you don’t have to be special. You just have to be what most people aren’t: consistent, determined and willing to work for it.”
Treat others as you wish to be treated yourself. This applies as much on social media as in real life. Habits do not know artificial distinctions between real and virtual selves.
"The Seven Years’ War shows that there is more than one way of fighting [a] war of attrition...it is not vital to out-kill the enemy." Prince Henry of Prussia showed that sometimes all you have to do is drag out a war until circumstances change. https://t.co/FgF3vOIP4d
@jameskgreer77 Thank you for making the trip! I'm excited to be in command and cannot express enough thanks to you and countless others who've taught and coached me along the route to where I am now. #PreparedAndLoyal
