@kezia_noble Weird I was in London with my retired mum on Sunday for her birthday, sun was shining, gardens were gorgeous, such a gorgeous city to just roam and enjoy โค๏ธ
@LexiBeaChorlton Have you ever voted in a general election, and if so please illuminate to me where you voted for a prime minister... and if we called a general election you would just be voting for the same person you voted for last time?!?!? Please stop embarrassing yourself!
@patriots777888 That a hell of a lot of people who don't understand how our county is governed... worrying really as these people are allowed to vote ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
@LexiBeaChorlton Tell me you don't understand our system of government without telling me you don't understand! It's been this way for long enough, can't be hard to get yourself caught up!
@sana81aft@Nigel_Farage But he is the one undermining the confidence... people need to understand how our system of government works, and do what they can to SUPPORT the country, not try and tear it apart!
@reformparty_uk Is our democracy perfect, probably not... do I want you to dismantle it because you're not happy... ALSO DEFINITELY NO! These are the rules, and if the rules are going to change it's not your place to change them!
@F0STRE Thatcher never won a general election, no individual can... she won her local election, she won the seat of leader of her party, and her party won the general election (the same 3 wins that Burnham has achieved... just in a slightly different order)
@LexiBeaChorlton So "legitimacy to be prime minister" means one and only one thing... being the leader of the majority party in the House of Commons... does that party you lead have more MPs that the party he leads?
@PeterMcCormack In my 24 years of voting I have never voted for a prime minister ๐ค๐ค๐ค I always vote for a local MP representing my party of choice and the job of PM defaults to their boss... that's just the way it works ๐๐ผ
@ReeseEastAnglia@PoliticoTeacher This occurred to me...he makes as much sense as farage, his policies are as realistic, and would do as much (if not more!) good than farage's... the only difference I see is that he's silly on purpose, where his opponent is silly and thinks he's not, which is much more dangerous!
@LizWebsterSBF@CountBinface It's so easy to lose hope, but this absolute nonsense is part of the fabric of what makes our country amazing... 10/10 to the BBC for entertaining this, and sharing their platform for the good (and entertainment!) of the licence payers! ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป
@taves_n@pallnandi I've literally never seen a hotel room priced "per 24 hours"... they all charge me by the night, maybe I'm staying in the wrong sort of hotels ๐คท๐ป
@Wydenzoo Get new friends... even though I have simple tastes in food, and I don't drink alcohol, I'm not generally against a classic "split the bill" arrangement, but it must be agreed by everyone... if someone wants to just pay their own way, that's their choice ๐๐ผ
