@DefiantLs I was ordered to cut 2 mile rolls of commo wire for recycling if had more than 3 (maybe 4) splices. So I cut wire until I got to the last splice & added wire from another roll (1 splice). Nope, I was told that wasn’t reg, to go back & cut the whole roll. Stupid waste of money

@SydneyLWatson BTW, I’ve used tomato juice too. But I think vinegar works better. You will have to put up with vinegar smell a day or so.

Last thing, when you smell skunk, think of coffee, it tricks your mind into being less offended. Amazingly it works if the skunk smell isn’t too strong.

@SydneyLWatson Bath them with a combination of lots of vinegar, Dawn & baking soda. Usually takes 2-3 baths. Then dry, sprinkle them with baking soda. If they’re long hair rinse them in 2-3 hours. Put bowls of vinegar out but out of reach their reach. Lost track of how many times I’ve done this

@SydneyLWatson Get to them quickly. If their skin absorbs the skunk spray it will be on their breath for days.
My huskies are skunk killers. A dozen or more. Search your yard if it happened at home. They will revisit the carcass & roll around in it. Starting the process all over.
