The Last Hug โ Treblinka, 1943
Two brothers, ages twelve and nine, were seen clutching each other tightly as they were herded into Treblinkaโs gas chambers. A survivor remembered their last words: โDonโt let go.โ
Even as the doors closed, they held on. In the ashes later sifted, their bones were found together, still intertwined โ proof that even in death, they had not let go.
