@MickPuck@Slate Made me realise what deep soul brothers Paul and John were. I mean, I knew it before, but seeing the obvious love and respect for each other is there in their eyes and body language. Plus, they were still writing partners chipping in with the odd line, shaping the song.
@Britquixote@DouglasKMurray I don't see property prices falling where I live. Loads of Asians/Indians, some Africans, some Polish mixed with white British. Tell me where this 'properties going cheaper' place is please?
@Lacanox @VicVA2 If you are retiring early, you have to be careful. A friend of mine did just that and he is now back at work as he underestimated how much he would need to have a living wage from his pension. I don't know exact figures but you need a lot more than you might think!
@MickPuck@Wtfaudiosong John Lennon once said (I think it's that famous Rolling Stone interview) that Paul would turn up with 12 songs and John would think 'Shit I need to write more!' McCartney was always a fountain of song.
@MickPuck Lennon was certainly lucid and present in mind. He got a bit crazed at times but that's the cabin fever of studios. I felt sorry for George in that first episode. You could see he wasn't part of that unique and deep bond between John and Paul and maybe felt a bit out of things.
@jordanbpeterson I am sitting here, off work, feeling like crap, short of breath, just took PCR test and you keep banging on about liberties being infringed. Fuck you Peterson. Now unfollowing you.
@pollytoynbee Just because they might arrive here does not mean they can stay. This is what people don't understand. Asylum is a qualifiable right. They have to then be assessed as fleeing for their lives and having no other option. Let them in, don't leave them to drown.
@JuliaHB1@dgurdasani1 Don't wear one then. But don't insist that those who choose to wear one really should not be wearing one. Mind yer own business in other words.
@triggerpod@francisjfoster@KonstantinKisin Good point about how weirdly, people more on the right tend to be more open to views. I've got a few friends who voted Tory. They know I'm not a Tory but they never have a go at me about it. Unlike Labour voters who think you're a horrible person for voting Tory.
