It’s more complex than that, many people have supplemental and main income from TikTok, many small businesses have grown, all of the charity and fundraising.

If the worry is leaking of personal data to the CCP, well American companies do the same — ban the practice of selling people’s data altogether.

Allow users to put walls up around apps and still be able to use them. Users shouldn’t have to allow total access to their contacts, photos, location, etc. just to use an app.

A lot of people make their living off of tik tok. Just like here on X. Would you feel the same if all of a sudden your following and livelihood was wiped out? If China is that bad, why in the hell are they making our medicine? Make it make sense. They can’t control the messaging That’s why they want it banned. They have no cares in the world about harvesting all our data and censoring us but if anyone else’s does it besides them-lookout. They don’t give a sh1t about us. That’s not the reason they want it banned. 🤷🏻‍♀️
