I’ve been a huge Martina McBride fan for decades. Her voice, her songs, they’ve been the soundtrack to so many moments in my life. I’ve seen her live in concert and proudly bought her music for myself and as gifts for others. But not anymore. When artists put politics ahead of country, especially for something as big as America’s 250th anniversary, I’m done. This isn’t about Democrats vs. Republicans. It’s about honoring 250 years of freedom. It’s about the men and women who fought, bled, and died to give us this country and keep it free. The 250th should be a time to unite Americans, not divide us further. Any artist backing out of these celebrations should be ashamed. We need more unity, not more boycotts. Here are the artists who have publicly backed out or refused to perform at the Freedom 250 / Great American State Fair events: • Martina McBride • Bret Michaels (Poison) • Young MC • Morris Day and the Time • The Commodores • (Others like C+C Music Factory and Milli Vanilli also distanced themselves or denied involvement) If you feel the same, share this. Ma’am, bless your ever-lovin’ heart 😂 You wrote a whole novel about how you thought this was just a wholesome “nonpartisan” celebration of all 50 states… but now suddenly “what we were told is not what is happening” and you gotta bail on America’s 250th birthday bash? You sang your face off at Obama’s White House Christmas party with zero complaints about politics. But Trump’s back in office and suddenly the same country you made millions singing about is too scary for ya? You’ve spent your career preaching about being the voice for “real people with real issues”… yet here you are abandoning the biggest patriotic partyin decades because your feelings got hurt by reality. Toby Keith would’ve strapped on the boots and sung louder. This ain’t principle, darlin. This is folding like a cheap lawn chair. The country’s still gonna party on June 25th… with or without you. Fans just got the clearest picture yet. You are weak.
