I loved visiting East High School today! ๐ After completing an observation, I connected with former students and surprised my frat, Mr. Fields! ๐

1st gr students asked me to write the messages they saw on my laptop so they could place them in the same spots on their own Chromebooks. It warmed my heart to hear them reading each one ๐ฅฐ #affirmations#teacherlife@RCSDMLKJr
I had the pleasure of welcoming my fraternity brother to @RCSDMLKJr ! He read Jabari Tries by Gaia Cornwall to one of the first grade bilingual classrooms. Our scholars did an excellent job asking and answering questions in English!
I was blown away by the time, effort, and detail that went into these Longhouse projects! Check these 4th graders out for yourself! @guateloon88@RCSDMLKJr
Tomorrow is #RTASolidarity Wednesday. Wear your RTA shirt & walk in & out of the building together. Ask your RTA rep or Action Committee Liaison when you are meeting. Post/send us a picture of you & your colleagues.
