@passportsevamea @CGISFO @DrSJaishankar I applied for son’s passport renewal at Indian Consulate at SF through VFS Global on Nov 7th but online status still shows “under processing” even after more than 5 weeks. Appreciate your timely help and reply. #IndianConsulGeneralSF

@vfsglobalcare @DrSJaishankar I would like to bring your attention to the passport services provider VFS global in USA is so unresponsive and not even have toll free number , not responding to emails.

@VFSGlobal @vfsglobalcare my credit card was charged twice for same passport application (reference number: 20-2002609710). How do I request for a refund for one of the transactions?

And where and how to send the birth certificate? Does it need to be notarized? Birth certificate wasn’t mentioned in the document checklist, so why is it being asked now?

Could you help me figure out which document is being referred as OTHER ?

@gujars No the email I received just says that they’re awaiting for birth certificate and OTHERS but didn’t say how and where to send these. Please let me know if you get to know anything.

Birth certificate isn’t mentioned in the document checklist and I don’t know what this “OTHERS “ is. Could you please help? I can provide the application reference number.
