Here is the road which connect BG east to Fortis Hospital Shalimar Bagh. But because of Slums,/Juggis , we have to circle Shalimar Bagh to reach Fortis Hospital.

MCD Action Against Illegal Encroachment

Today, the Municipal Team of Narela Zone carried out an enforcement drive against illegal encroachments by meat shopkeepers on main Karala–Kanjhawala Road in Begumpur.

The action was jointly undertaken by the Veterinary and Maintenance departments to remove unauthorised structures and reclaim public spaces, ensuring smoother movement and improved civic conditions for residents.

@gupta_rekha I truly appreciate your efforts in Shalimar Bagh. Thank you, Ma’am. We sincerely hope the jhuggis in BG/BH Block East, will be removed soon. Life has become extremely difficult for residents here. We know DDA has allotted around 300 flats, but so far, no one has relocated yet.

@CMODelhi We’ve seen extra floors being constructed, whether on DDA flats or builder floors. Why does MCD allow this in the first place? Even in Shalimar bagh , Pitampura we can pick builder floors/DDA blocks E floor created extra over D. Or extra rooms created on the roof. @MCD_Delhi

Delhi Shalimar Bagh, block BG east. A large number of commercial vehicles are parked on the footpath, completely blocking pedestrian access due to this illegal parking. Additionally, alcohol consumption is taking place inside these parked. @gupta_rekha @LokNiwasDelhi @MCD_Delhi
