Tremont baseball won its first state championship in program history and completely handled all phases of the game in a 10-0 win over Putnam County in the Class 1A state title🏆

Just as Tremont was getting ready to possibly break this game open, we are now in a lightning delay for at least the next 30 minutes.

Tremont had just made it 5-0 on a 2-run double by Jack Oyer in B2.

Turks will have the bases loaded with one out when we resume.

We've heard this before, but Tremont is hitting the tar out of the ball today as they take a 3-0 lead in the first.

Meeker leads it off with a triple, Muselman reaches second on an error, Dawson hits an RBI double and Smith adds an RBI single.
