One of the more well rounded players in the game rotting on the kings bc gms care more about looking smart to morons on twitter than winning basketball games smh
@TheWestWolfPod Russ revisionism is funny cuz he was already a perennial mvp candidate in the years prior to KD leaving and was already the favorite right next to Steph when the 17 season started. It was deadass a matter of when not if he’d win MVP lol
When a clear goaltend doesn’t get called (or reviewed)
And on the next possession an out-of-bounds call is incorrect and a coach is PLEADING with the refs for a challenge, and they simply ignore him
Then the refs T-up said coach
The integrity of the game comes into question.
The Spurs have the ball down 98-88
• Refs miss a goaltending call
• Ball goes off Chet’s foot
• They ignore the coach’s challenge request
• SGA gets free throws
• Mitch Johnson is hit with a tech
• Lu Dort and Tony Brothers laughing on the sideline
Us fans deserve better than this smh
Russell Westbrook is reportedly the "kindest teammate" behind the scenes:
- Left an $8k tip for housekeepers in the NBA Bubble
- Gave Capela a luxury bracelet right off his wrist because Capela liked it
- Took Alex Abrines out to dinner when he felt lonely in OKC
- Gave away both cars that he won as a two-time All-Star MVP to families in need
- Sends Jordans and tracksuits to EVERY team staffer every year
- On a minimum deal in Denver Russ paid for dinners, bought clothes for teammates and more
- Great private charity work off the court
Russ is one of the most misunderstood players ever.
The Nuggets were up by 9 in Game 5 vs OKC last year when they took Russ out for Christian Braun in the 4th. Russ never went back in and Denver lost by 7. Then they decided to not bring Russ back, gave Braun $125mil, and lost to the TWolves w/o Ant in the 1st round. Ooof
