An overly long thread on why Turnabout Academy is one of my favorite cases in all of Ace Attorney 1/114

[Gavout @Gavout15]

@cartethyias @notasnowmann Oh uh btw, the Florent Hair Spray is how Amara was able to turn her hair black to switch places with Maya when it came to channeling you-know-who.

[Gavout @Gavout15]

@cartethyias AA5’s largest flaw for me is its treatment of Trucy Wright, but even then, at LEAST they didn’t essentially tell her to fuck off.

[Gavout @Gavout15]

@cartethyias He says this in the next episode and I hate him for that.

I swear the next episode is good, but you’re going to have to deal with treatment of Athena so bad you’ll look at how AA5 treated Trucy and say “I didn’t realize how good I had it”.

[Gavout @Gavout15]

@cartethyias It has logically coherent mysteries in all 6 of its episodes, all of the characters are good or better (excluding victims), it has a really compelling story in Khura'in, and it manages to give Apollo an ending that brings both his character & role as a protag to an ending.

[Gavout @Gavout15]

@cartethyias We can go back to Apollo after Athena gets to be the lead defense attorney for a final episode of a game that wraps up her as both a character and a protagonist.

[Gavout @Gavout15]

@cartethyias At least w/o him in the office, SURELY Athena will have the spotlight next, right Crapcom?

Hot take?

All of Yamazaki’s Ace Attorney games are better than AA2, AA4, and AA1. That doesn’t just include AA5 & AA6, that also includes AAI1.

[chara @charavatar]

Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice definitely aren’t my favorites in the series but I will gladly fight on the front lines in their defense against people who think they’re genuinely bad games

[Gavout @Gavout15]

@EddieGender LETS GOOOO!!!! PEAAAAAAKKKK!!!!!!!!!!

[Gavout @Gavout15]

Y’all argue with the wall, Judy Bound is hot as hell. This is not “objectifying” her, this is stating an objective fact.

[polite young foid @ssvesn]

I’m SICK of pretending female characters aren’t sexy bc people think its Le objectification

[Eddie Gender〰️🫧 #Aalientwt @EddieGender]

@Gavout15 Shes so pretty i drew her

[Gavout @Gavout15]

@EddieGender She’s so pretty I did cry.

[Gavout @Gavout15]

@cartethyias Ace Attorney Investigations has some absolutely beautiful characters.

Both of them could absolutely kick my ass.

This sick freak confuses me to no end

-can’t evolve in any mainline games
-belongs to no region
-I don’t think it has any lore, why is it mythical
-is coded to learn thunder punch upon evolution DESPITE BEING IMPOSSIBLE TO EVOLVE IN ANY MAINLINE GAMES

I’m appalled that the R word is returning. Listen to disabled people when we tell you that this word is offensive and rude. There’s absolutely no reason to use that word. We’ve made progress with this and it’s going backwards. Please stop using that word!
