More details down below (👇)
@TatooineSons The scene with Ben and Han in Rise of Skywalker is genuinely one of the best in the entire trilogy.
Also, I respect the attempt to actually do something with 3PO when the other two movies just kinda had him there for the sake of it.
I'll always be team ladder bcuz all the stepladder people always phrase it like "no, that's a stepladder".
Like, a stepladder is a type of ladder dipshit, they aren't wrong to call it that.
I love how The Lego Movie can be used to discredit basically any argument in favour of shitty movies.
“Oh they’re just for kids they don’t have to be good-“ The Lego Movie.
“Oh it’s based on a toy/ip, they don’t need to try-“ The Lego Movie.
It’s that good.
Had an AU idea on a whim today that's just "what if Organization XIII, but with ace attorney villains"
These are just my base ideas without much thought put into them, so if you have any suggestions, i'll be open to it.
(also, potential Kingdom Hearts and AA spoilers)
My most cynical “new ace attorney game” take is that there’s no way in hell we ever get another investigations game without Edgeworth as the protagonist
@curiosityman2 I kinda get it. On one hand, his racism is presented as a character flaw that he goes through an arc to overcome, but also giving him some tragic backstory explaining as to why he’s racist just feels really weird
@AceOfSpades021 Oh yeah, absolutely
Like, it’s an almost annual tradition at this point for shit like Star Wars or FNAF or Pokemon or whatever to creep on me again
I don’t get why people criticize Kristoph for not having a detailed backstory and complex motive when Manfred von Karma was just an asshole who killed a guy because of his perfectionism and nobody seems to complain about that guy.
'Andor' creator Tony Gilroy's Peabody Awards Acceptance Speech:
“We spent six years contemplating a fascist takeover of a galaxy far, far away. Six years thinking about what happens to ordinary beings when an authoritarian, insane, unchecked regime comes into the deal, and the show is really kind of what we learned"
“If you’re not willing to fight for the things that you love, your family, community, your culture, your planet, your truth, freedom, there’s an asshole ready to come in and take it away. We learned that bravery and sacrifice and resistance comes in all shapes and sizes, and we learned that courage is contagious"
“There’s so much is happening, it’s a fire hose of crap that you just can’t get through. And here we are. There isn’t a new cycle that goes by right now that doesn’t contain a variety of outrages that in any other time in our history in America wouldn’t be grounds for treason"
“Please do not stop. Please do not turn out the lights until we can kill this nightmare… and fuck the Empire!”
