As anyone who works in film & TV knows it can be a long, demoralising slog sometimes, which is why it was a great boost to see all the five star reviews for @AwaitFI at its new home on @Shudder . Huge love to everyone who enjoys our weird little movie!

Charisma Carpenter remembered her ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’ co-star Anthony Head and shared on Instagram:
“Tony brought life to a character who, for so many, was the father figure they needed but didn’t have at home. Fans far and wide are surely grieving, and for that, I am deeply sorry... Tony was an icon long before I met him on set, something I came to appreciate fully as a young actress new to the business after being cast as Cordelia. How fortunate I was to have worked with someone of his caliber and talent...”

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is my favorite show, and it has been a difficult few months to say the least. RIP Anthony Stewart Head, truly the glue that held the series together. Mentor, father figure, voice of reason, shoulder to cry on, Giles is a character who will endure forever.
Emma Caulfield remembers her ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ co-star Anthony Head:
This was taken on the London Underground in 2011. I went to visit my friend Tony on the set of The Iron Lady. We had lunch, hit up a record store, had dinner and drinks and laughed until our sides hurt. It was a perfect day. There were many of these moments with this amazing human who I was lucky enough to call my friend for 27 years. He was kind and wise and a guide in troubled times. You were so loved. Impossible to caption. You are so missed. rest in peace with your beautiful Sarah-Emma.”

A quick story about Anthony Head.
He was of my earliest interviews as an entertainment journalist. It was GILES… from BUFFY. I was nervous.
Towards the end of our conversation, I dried up and forgot my next question… (1/2)
“I have a foreboding of an America in my children's or grandchildren's time -- when the United States is a service and information economy; when nearly all the manufacturing industries have slipped away to other countries; when awesome technological powers are in the hands of a very few, and no one representing the public interest can even grasp the issues; when the people have lost the ability to set their own agendas or knowledgeably question those in authority; when, clutching our crystals and nervously consulting our horoscopes, our critical faculties in decline, unable to distinguish between what feels good and what's true, we slide, almost without noticing, back into superstition and darkness...
The dumbing down of American is most evident in the slow decay of substantive content in the enormously influential media, the 30 second sound bites (now down to 10 seconds or less), lowest common denominator programming, credulous presentations on pseudoscience and superstition, but especially a kind of celebration of ignorance”
