which would you say is more likely to ensure that everyone has a decent life, incl housing, food, medical care, education, a job, a decent income, etc: an ideology which explicitly says *not all should* have these things, or one that says everyone should indeed have them

remember quarantine when everyone was making bread and dancing and making art and taking care of plants and just learning new useful skills and we got a small glimpse into what life is supposed to be like
rich kids being able to do art for a living may be a reflection of their privilege but it seems to me like a reflection of the fact that a human that doesn't have to worry about money will often choose art. everyone is an artist until rent is due. i wish we all had that right
