@MayoClinic was instrumental in my diagnosis and treatment. There are a lot of options wrt payment, and it's possible to get financial assistance. Hopefully the large influx of dysautonomia patients will result in more local doctors learning how to dx and treat.

I have POTS, a type of dysautonomia that can show up as part of "long covid." I have always had this syndrome, and I want to reach out to anyone struggling with this type of chronic illness for the first time. It can be debilitating even though it's invisible.

#Dysautonomia is real, regardless of what ignorant people may tell you. It can be managed with proper treatment, but experts are few and far between, so you will have to advocate for yourself a lot. I had to do my own research and tell my doctors which tests to run.
