i haven’t been online in a while but since this season of black lightning just ended i wanted to say thank you for the beautiful, powerful, and gay content this season i can’t wait to see where thundergrace goes from here (i hope they’re okay)
@NafessaWilliams
@Chantal_Thuy
hello i just wanted to say that i’m still alive and gayer than ever and i hope that you’re all doing well and you’re all happy and healthy and staying safe out there with everything that’s going on in the world take good care of yourselves
It’s pathetic how the gay community doesn’t support black and brown gays...... like it’s rlly sad. Y’all was on here screaming about how we should support “love, simon” and “call me by your name” but y’all can’t even support black lgbtq+ projects such as “POSE” on Fx
one of the reasons why i love lorelai gilmore with my whole gay heart is because she didn’t have the closest relationship with her parents and felt like a dissapointment to them and she did everything she could to make sure that rory had a difference experience
i always feel like i could do more to make them feel more comfortable around me or love me unconditionally but i’m starting to learn and accept that it’s not the parent’s job to teach a child how they are it’s the parent’s job to learn about who their child is
it’s the oddest thing becuase if someone came to me and said these exact words i’d tell them that they’re valid nonetheless but it’s always been hard for me to swallow my own words because my mind automatically thinks “others have it worse”
one of the worst things about having homophobic parents is feeling guilty for not having a close relationship with them or feeling negative ways towards them because i know how many others don’t have an opportunity to have both or one of their parents in their life
it still hits me that we have our first black lesbian bulletproof superhero on the first black superhero show black women are THRIVING and there’s nothing you can do to stop them
